Every item in this shop is created with intention—rooted in culture, responsibility, and care for the land and our communities. This shop is independently owned and operated as my solo business. While it is not run by the wildlife sanctuary, every purchase directly supports that work: either all or a portion of proceeds are donated to the sanctuary, helping fund wildlife care, humane coexistence efforts, and community education.

Sewing, Embroidery & Living Memory
My mother, Amazonian and Spanish, sewed and sculpted. My grandmother—my father’s mother—is Yaqui and practiced hand embroidery, an important part of our culture. She passed when my father was very young, but her knowledge did not disappear. In our culture, we believe we don’t only carry the trauma of our ancestors—we also carry their good medicine.
My mother lives with dementia now, and continuing what she taught me is an act of honor. She taught me the importance of culture, tradition, and making things with care. Every stitch, every embroidered piece, is a way of carrying forward what was given to me—proof that this knowledge was never lost, only carried.
